NHS East Midlands Regional Innovation Fund

The 2009/10 East Midlands Regional Innovation Fund worth £1.94M is now open for applications. Held by the SHA, the fund is to support the adoption and spread of leading-edge practices, clinical pathways, approaches, technologies and products; adaption of ideas from other industries or markets, and new idea generation.

Applications can be made by an individual or a team within an East Midlands NHS organisation or by an East Midlands NHS organisation as a whole. Joint applications are also invited from East Midlands NHS organisations in partnership with organisations in local government, the third sector, private healthcare, education, commercial enterprise and industry.

Applications will be reviewed by the Innovation Fund Panel in two tranches

• applications received between 7 September and 5 October
• applications received between 6 October and 10 November
